Jazz in the City celebrates National Health Center Week with Syracuse Community Health

Syracuse Community Health, Syracuse’s federally qualified health center, is using the upcoming Aug. 7 Jazz in the City concert at 930 S. Salina Street to celebrate their growth during National Health Center Week.

Open for more than a year, the new center is adding resident physicians, now offering comprehensive medical care including substance abuse, family planning, dental, pediatrics, OB/GYN, eye care and podiatry.

At the concert, their medical team will offer free testing and screenings incentivized by Lottery scratch-offs. Series partner LeadSafe CNY Coalition is increasing the number of free home water purification kits to 50, distributed through a free raffle, and will also announce the three student winners of their “ Lead Free Futures: Youth Art Showcase.”…
