Syracuse council completes land deal with SHA

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The long-talked about deal involving the Eastwood Heights Apartments and Latimer Terrace has been rubber-stamped.

The Syracuse City Council on Monday voted to approve the deal between the city and Syracuse’s Housing Authority.

Eastwood Heights is now owned by SHA, which already operates the property. The site will be completely redeveloped…
