Buffalo N.Y. – A children’s hospital in Buffalo is the next to be named after Tom Golisano, the billionaire who also has donated millions of dollars to Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
The John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital and Kaleida Health announced this week that Golisano is donating $50 million toward pediatric care at the state’s only standalone children’s hospital.
Like in Syracuse and in Rochester, the Buffalo hospital’s name will change to reflect the donor and donation. The hospital will become the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo in January 2026…
