SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV)–The Antonio family, local to Central New York, turned a simple lemonade stand into a charitable effort, donating proceeds to local animal shelters.
The family organized the lemonade stand with the intention of donating the money to help animals, a cause close to their hearts. They sold lemonade and homemade cookies, with the children choosing to donate toys to Humane-CNY.
“They actually wanted to do a lemonade stand, so they came up with that idea,” said Brittany Antonio, the mother. “I asked them what they wanted to do with the money, and they immediately wanted to donate to the animals.”…
