SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) — To improve traffic safety in the City of Syracuse during the school year, school zone speed cameras have been set up around schools within city limits. City officials enacted this program to work towards keeping the youngest residents safe.
“Beginning next week, the enforcement will begin, and you’ll be receiving a warning ticket if you speed in a school zone,” Greg Loh, Syracuse’s Chief Policy Officer, said.
