Wind project draws fierce pushback in Cayuga

More than 200 people packed a hearing in Auburn as residents grilled developers over a proposed wind farm in Cayuga County, according to The Citizen.

The Agricola Wind Project would install up to 24 turbines between Scipio and Venice, each 600 feet tall. Locals raised alarms about noise, flicker, fire risk, and property values.
