In Syracuse, Anthony Price, 56, is facing additional charges related to the death of his girlfriend, Nicole Azzoto, 40. Initially charged with second-degree murder, Price now faces counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, concealment of a human corpse, and tampering with physical evidence. According to the indictment, Price allegedly shot Azzoto with a shotgun on July 17 at their shared residence on Glass Terrace. The gun reportedly had an altered barrel less than 18 inches long.
After the shooting, Price is accused of moving Azzoto’s body from the living room to the basement and covering it with a blanket. He also allegedly disposed of evidence in a dumpster on South State Street.
