Million Dollar Powerball Winners In New York State

One of the largest Powerball jackpots in history will be split between two winners.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were two winning tickets sold from Saturday’s 1.79 billion dollar Powerball drawing. The winning tickets were sold in Missouri and Texas.

Powerball Winners In New York State

There were two 2nd place winning tickets sold in New York State from Saturday’s Powerball drawing. Those tickets matched all five numbers but missed the Powerball number. Each one of those tickets won 1 Million Dollars.

One ticket was sold at the Shoprite at 46 Thompson Square in Monticello, New York, and the other one was sold at Hillside Cigar Shop at 338 Hillside Ave in Williston Park, New York.

On top of those two million dollar winning Powerball tickets, there were also 24 3rd-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and had the Powerball number. 20 of those tickets won $50,000, while the other four tickets had the Powerplay and won $100,000.

There were also 462 4th-place winning Powerball tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 403 of those ticket won $100 each while the other 59 had the Powerplay and won $200.

Here were the winning numbers from Saturday’s Powerball drawing: 11-23-44-61-62 with a Powerball of 17.
