Cicero, N.Y. — The Cicero town board, over the objection of the town supervisor, has given its police chief a new contract.
The new contract for police chief Saverio “Steve” Rotunno Jr., which was set to expire in 2028, now runs through 2029.
Rotunno, 60, will be paid $113,644 under the new contract. He was paid $109,600 last year. The salary is comparable to what other Central New York towns pay their police chiefs…
