New 455-foot mural in downtown Syracuse celebrates science, curiosity and wonder

Syracuse, N.Y. — The Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science and Technology (MOST) unveiled its new, 455-foot “Powered by Wonder” mural in a dedication ceremony Wednesday that celebrated United Way’s Day of Caring.

The vibrant mural located in Armory Square features scientists, astronauts, rockets, and words like “experiment,” “invent,” “create” and “technology.” Tommy Lincoln of Stay Fresh Design created the mural with the help of more than 100 volunteers, thanks to a partnership between the MOST and United Way of Central New York.
