Homeless man accused of fatally stabbing man who took him in faces new charges

Syracuse, N.Y. ― A man accused of stabbing to death a 62-year-old who welcomed him into his home when he was homeless faces new charges.

Peter J. Boehm, 34, is accused of stabbing Kevin Works, 62, in the chest with a folding pocketknife on July 15 at the Seneca Garden Apartments at 103 Riverdale Dr., police said.

Boehm was originally charged with first-degree manslaughter. On Aug. 27, an indictment was filed charging Boehm with second-degree murder…
