Syracuse man fires gun into air during a dispute with neighbor over dog, police say

Syracuse, N.Y. – A Syracuse man was arrested this weekend after police say he fired a gun in the air during a dispute with a neighbor over a dog.

Syracuse police responded at about 9:52 p.m. Sunday to a ShotSpotter report of gunshots in the Washington Square neighborhood, according to Sgt. Tom Blake, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Police Department.
