Woman who ran North Syracuse school’s PTO arrested, accused of stealing $65,000

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A former board member of the Roxboro Middle School PTO has been accused of stealing nearly $65,000 from the organization.

52-year-old Kristen Pyer was arrested Tuesday, September 30, by the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office after an 18-month investigation revealed evidence she stole money from the PTO bank account and pocketed proceeds from fundraising events.
