MATTYDALE N.Y. — Fire crews from Mattydale and Liverpool responded to a vehicle fire at the intersection of Factory Avenue and Brewerton Road around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday.
According to officials, Mattydale Fire Department’s car-2 was first on the scene and found an engine compartment fire. A bystander attempted to extinguish the blaze with a fire extinguisher but was unsuccessful.
