VILLAGE OF EAST SYRACUSE – Redev CNY has announced the completion of its St. Matthew’s condominiums in East Syracuse, the first condo project in all of New York State to participate in the Affordable Homeownership Opportunity Program (AHOP). The redevelopment of the former St. Matthew’s Elementary School at 214 Kinne St. consists of 21 residential condos, of which 12 are one-bedroom units, eight are two-bedrooms, and one is a studio apartment. Two of the units were designed specifically to be fully accessible for people with mobility, audible or visual impairments, having been equipped with roll-in showers and side-by-side washers and dryers rather than stacked ones.
