SYRACUSE, N.Y. — What was once the Syracuse Developmental Center will soon be turning into a residential space full of dozens of multi-income properties, if approved.
The property was originally seized by the City of Syracuse in 2019. This was after owing hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes. In 2023, the City announced a new plan for the lot. Demolition of the space started in May 2024.
The property was bought by the Albanese Organization and will soon be transformed…
