Vice principal of Syracuse elementary school found drinking with underage student

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — An administrator at a Syracuse elementary school is facing charges after being found in a pickup truck with a 15-year-old student and a bottle of alcohol.

According to Syracuse Police, around 6:53 p.m. on Friday, October 10, officers received information about an adult man possibly with an underage female student drinking alcohol in a vehicle parked in the Corcoran High School Parking Lot.

After responding to the scene, officers found a 15-year-old female and 54-year-old Jaime Perez-Garcia, a vice principal at H.W. Smith Elementary School, in a pickup truck.

A bottle of alcohol and two shot glasses were found in the truck, upon investigation…
