A volatile fall setup will rumble across the Northeast fueled by a cold front moving in from the Midwest, threatening damaging winds, drenching downpours, and a messy start to the workweek.
Sunday, Oct. 19 will start mostly sunny with highs in the 70s, but conditions will deteriorate by late day, the National Weather Service said.
