SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Fire Department is investigating after a fire broke out an an vacant house on Sabine Street near the Rosamond Gifford Zoo.
Around 40 Firefighters responded to the fire at 121 Sabine St. around 11:54 p.m. on Oct. 19. They were met with heavy flames and smoke coming out of the two-and-a-half story building.
The department described a “large volume” of fire from the first floor to the roof. As firefighters were fighting the flames, other crews tried to enter the house…
