SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced on Monday that the Division of Business Development will host a public engagement meeting for the Valley Plaza Grocery Store project.
The city said that the Syracuse Economic Development Corporation recently received $1.7 million from New York State’s Food Access Expansion Grant Program to bring a grocery store back to the area, which has lacked one since 2018. The new store will be called “Super Imperial Market.”
