Take a look: Skyline Apartment owners reveal new progress on troubled building

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Chicago-based Clear Investment Group allowed CNY Central to enter the troubled Skyline Apartments.

Clear has pledged to transform the horrific building on James Street in Syracuse into a habitable space for city residents. In the past, the building was plagued by a murder, drug activity, vermin, a fire, burst water pipes and innumerable other issues.

Yet, CNY Central cameras picked up progress on the building that’s expected to be ready for residents by April 30, 2026. By then, it’ll be known as “The Metropolitan.” The group also let cameras into rooms that still needed to be repaired…
