SYRACUSE, N.Y. — “Chance,” a 3-year-old loving pit bull, was left fighting for life after he was stabbed in the throat on East Willow Street on Oct. 21.
Chance underwent multiple surgeries to treat his wound. CNY Central checks in on Chance on Friday. His caretakers said he’s doing better and adapting to his current situation.
“He’s coming off of some of his IV fluid medicine and he’s doing better,” said Office Supervisor and Volunteer Coordinator at HumaneCNY Emily Cerio. “They are having him walk a little bit more at the vet and he’s actually able to be discharged at some point this week.”…
