Family calls for ‘justice’ after loved one’s grave is repeatedly vandalized

A family’s heartbreak continues, years after their loss. Remir Martin was killed three years ago, and his loved ones say that since then, there have been several instances of vandalism to his grave.

“If he was sitting down, you walked in the room and you needed somewhere to sit, he would get up. If he’d seen you with your groceries, he would walk and help you with your groceries,” said Martin’s mother, Obioma Newman.

“I would have never thought in a million years that I would be standing here under these circumstances. From A., losing him and B., now dealing with the vandalism,” said Newman…
