2 dogs rescued, one person sent to hospital after Syracuse house fire

UPDATE at 10:12 p.m. on 10-30-25: The Syracuse Fire Department has released more details on the house fire that sent one resident to the hospital.

The fire took place in a two-story home and was brought under control within 20 minutes. It was declared fully extinguished after about 45 minutes.

The single-family home displaced two residents, who were assisted by the American Red Cross. One occupant was home at the time of the fire and was able to get out before the fire department arrived. They were sent to Upstate Hospital. Syracuse fire crews do not know the nature or extent of their injuries at this time…
