SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse officials and housing advocates gathered Thursday at the Moyer Carriage Lofts on the city’s North Side, highlighting how the completed affordable housing development is helping shape the future of housing in central New York.
The 128-unit complex, which opened inside the restored historic Moyer Carriage and Car Factory, offers one and two bedroom apartments designed to provide quality, affordable housing for families across the city.
“This project was a partnership between Housing Visions and CNY Redev, another local development company,” said Ben Lockwood, President and CEO of Housing Visions. “We worked collaboratively to renovate this former industrial building into 128 new, modern, efficient apartments that are affordable.”…
