According to a New York State Police (NYSP) press release, a rare incident unfolded on Wednesday morning, November 5th, 2025, when a repair shop in Oneonta, NY, contacted law enforcement to report that the shop had been burglarized overnight.
The report stated that one of the items missing was a marked State Police patrol vehicle that had been undergoing service at the shop.
