MANLIUS, N.Y. — It wasn’t your typical morning for the Town of Manlius Police Department, officers found themselves in the middle of a “goat roundup” after a small herd made a break for freedom.
According to TMPD, two officers, identified as Officer Tyrel and Officer Cook, responded to reports of goats wandering through local streets early Sunday.
Witnesses say the herd seemed determined to enjoy its morning adventure, but the officers quickly corralled the animals back to safety. The department joked that Officer Cook’s “here, goaty goaty!” call might have sealed the deal…
