SOLVAY, N.Y. — Bianchi’s Catering in Solvay is stepping up to support local residents affected by the ongoing federal government shutdown. The popular eatery has announced that it will continue giving away free pizzas to individuals enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

According to a recent post on the business’s Facebook page, Bianchi’s Catering will provide one free cheese pizza with a topping of the recipient’s choice. The offer is limited to the first 50 Solvay residents who qualify for SNAP benefits and place an order.

Residents interested in receiving a pizza must call the restaurant to place their order between Saturday and Tuesday. The pick-up window is on Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., ensuring recipients have ample time to collect their meals…
