SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A man involved in multiple crimes, including the death of a 5-year-old toddler, demanded a new attorney.
Corrice Parks appeared in Onondaga County Court on Monday for additional proceedings ahead of his sentencing on a weapons charge. The charge stems from an Oct. 11, 2024, incident where police found him with a handgun and drugs during a traffic stop.
Parks pleaded guilty to the crime on June 6, believing that there were videos of him with the gun. But on Monday, his attorney, Susan Carey, explaining her reason to no longer pursue a motion to review the videos, told the courtroom that no such “preserved video” exists…
