CATO, N.Y. — On Sept. 4, Argentina Juarez-Lopez went to work at Nutrition Bar Confectioners but never made it home. She was detained by Immigration & Customs Enforcement Agents at her place of employment.
Her lawyer, Immigration Attorney Jose Perez, said she was taken without any proof that she committed a crime and her rights were violated. He called the raid, “A prime example of systematic gross negligence of law enforcement’s respect of constitutional rights.
