CAMILLUS, N.Y. — An overturned car at the intersection of Knowell Road and Milton Avenue in Camillus last week led to a dramatic rescue by Drew Bucktooth, a National Grid lineman.
Bucktooth, who was on his way to work, encountered the accident scene and immediately took action to help those trapped inside.
“I pulled up on the scene, I saw the car upside down,” Bucktooth said. “So, I pulled out in front to block traffic from getting worse, I turned my lights on, and I saw a guy, he was lying halfway out of the car. The car was, windows were broken. I pulled him out to safety.”…
