SYRACUSE, N.Y. — After announcing plans to open a store in Syracuse at the Destiny USA mall in July, IKEA will be opening its location at the mall this month, News10NBC’s Syracuse affiliate reports.
The store, which will be the first to open in Upstate New York, is a nearly 70,000 square-foot space that has more than 3,000 products, such as home furnishing accessories and small furniture items. It will also have a dining area that serves Swedish meatballs and other specialties.
The grand opening of the store will be on Friday, Nov. 21, starting at 9:45 a.m. IKEA told our affiliate customers can start lining up outside the store at 7 a.m…
