Man found stabbed early morning in Downtown Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Syracuse police are investigating a stabbing that happened early this morning in Downtown Syracuse.

The man, a 25-year-old, was found with multiple stab wounds to his upper body, but he’s expected to survive, Sergeant Thomas Blake of the Syracuse Police Department said in a statement to the press. Upstate Medical University Hospital reported the stabbing to the police at around 2:20 a.m.

Police believe the stabbing to have happened in the 300 block of West Fayette Street, which is in the western, non-residential part of Downtown Syracuse. The map above shows the general area…
