Two teenagers were arrested after crashing a stolen vehicle on Interstate 81 in Syracuse on Saturday (November 15). According to Syracuse police, the 15-year-old and 16-year-old suspects crashed a stolen Hyundai into the median and then fled the scene on foot. Officers quickly apprehended one of the teens, while the other was captured near Doctor King Elementary School. During the arrest, police used force on one of the teens, which is now under review as per department policy.
Sgt. Thomas Blake, a spokesperson for Syracuse police, confirmed the incident and stated that the use of force is being reviewed.
