FBI arrests man in Syracuse for sending “blood-drinking” texts to Aurora resident

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A Colorado man has been sentenced to two years in jail for sending threatening text messages to another person.

56-year-old Jerry Gordon pled guilty in September 2025 to transmitting a threat in interstate commerce to injure another person.

According to Gordon’s guilty plea, Gordon sent four threatening text messages to an Aurora man from Apr. 22 to Apr. 25, with one of the texts reading that Gordon would “drink your blood from the chalice that I will make out of your heart.”…
