Former anti-violence worker sentenced for selling drugs on the job

Syracuse, N.Y. ― A former Syracuse anti-violence outreach worker this week was sentenced to prison for selling drugs on the job.

Ahmed Abdi, 33, previously pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
