Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse Mayor-elect Sharon Owens will lean on five established community leaders to guide the launch of her administration.
Owens, set to take over from incumbent Mayor Ben Walsh at the start of the new year, announced the leaders of her transition team on Wednesday. The team includes people serving in the current administration and on the Syracuse Common Council. It also has representatives from the business and nonprofit sectors.
