Suspect in custody after wounding woman in Saturday morning stabbing

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Saturday morning, a 43-year-old woman with stab wounds to her back, shoulder, and head arrived at Crouse Hospital by private conveyance. Syracuse Police were notified of her condition and location around 8 a.m., after they were called to the 2000 block of East Fayette to investigate.

The victim’s wounds were ultimately deemed non-life-threatening, and she is now in stable condition. Meanwhile, police have taken a suspect into custody. Authorities have not released the names of either party…
