TOWN OF LYSANDER, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A forklift quickly braking to avoid a backing-up snow plow is what caused a chemical spill at the Baldwinsville-Seneca Knolls Wastewater Treatment Plant on Monday morning, a spokesperson for Onondaga County government confirms to NewsChannel 9.
The spokesperson said the near-collision caused a container holding ferric chloride to spill its contents into the parking lot.
