Man convicted of starting fatal fire now faces possibility of life in prison without parole

Syracuse, N.Y. ― A Syracuse man was convicted Thursday of setting a fire that killed a woman on Syracuse’s South Side in 2024.

Anthony Green, 60, was found guilty of first-degree murder, first-degree arson and three counts of attempted murder.

He now faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole…
