Syracuse, N.Y. — The death of 4-year-old Amora Graves, who died after ingesting methadone, has led to the arrest of 38-year-old Quentin Evans.
Syracuse police responded to a home on Lakeview Ave. just before 11 a.m. on Aug. 27, where they attempted to save the young girl but were unsuccessful.
“Here’s a child who would probably be starting daycare, probably be going to school in a year or two,” said Syracuse Joseph Chief Cecile. “Going to be in school and doing what kids do, which is play with crayons and read books and make friends and laugh and she should’ve had all of that ahead of her.”…
