ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is sharing ways it’s helping to protect New Yorkers from PFOAS and PFAS, also known as forever chemicals. These chemicals have been linked to health issues.
According to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, also known as the DEC, a new study looked at soil in rural areas across the state.
