Gov. Hochul announces $300M to boost hospital health IT and cybersecurity across New York

New York (WRGB) — Governor Hochul announced more than $300 million in new state funding to support health care transformation projects aimed at improving health information technology and strengthening cybersecurity at hospitals across New York.

The funding, awarded through the Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program IV and V, will support 22 projects statewide focused on expanding electronic medical records, improving patient data security, and increasing access to telehealth services.
