SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Holiday gatherings are ramping up, but so is the flu.
“It’s been on the rise week to week. Last week we had a lot of cases ranging from pediatric age groups, children to elderly people as well,” said Dr. Harris Ahmed, the medical director of St. Joseph’s Health Hospital Emergency Department.
In Onondaga County alone, 308 cases have been confirmed so far, the second highest total in New York State outside of New York City and its surrounding counties…
