Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse issued more than 21,000 tickets for speeding and red-light violations in school zones in November, city officials said.
The tickets are $50 each. So if the city collects on all of the November tickets, drivers will pay more than $1 million. The city would keep 65% ($650,000) and the company operating the cameras would get 35% ($350,000).
