Grant to establish teen restorative justice program in Syracuse

Syracuse’s common council voted unanimously Monday to accept a $1.5 million grant to help establish a program to aid teens in the criminal justice system.

Exalt helps teenagers who were previously involved in crime get back to school or enter the workforce. The grant will help start a Syracuse location for the New York City area-based organization.
