Bayberry family spends two days shoveling after heavy snow

TOWN OF CLAY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — After a heavy round of snow, many neighborhoods across Central New York are still digging out, including Bayberry.

For the Reeves family, the snow didn’t just fall and disappear; it piled up. Turning their driveway and sidewalks into a two-day project. They spent much of Tuesday, Dec. 30, digging out, and were back at it again a day later. After hours of shoveling, the family said it’s been exhausting. But thankfully, it didn’t impact any of their plans.

“We were home for the holidays. The kids were home from school as well, so we weren’t too impacted, but we know others that were definitely impacted by the snow, getting to work, traveling home from the holidays. It just kind of hit at a good time for us,” said Jill Reeves, lives in Bayberry neighborhood…
