Two-month-old hit in head with video game console after dispute between child’s parents in Auburn

AUBURN, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A two-month-old was hospitalized after a domestic dispute between the child’s parents resulted in the child being hit in the head.

On Dec. 30, 2025, Auburn Police officers were called to Auburn Community Hospital for a report that a two-month-old had injuries consistent with possible child abuse. Detectives were called in and an investigation was conducted into the child’s injuries.

It was discovered that 33-year-old Jason L. Brown had gotten into a domestic incident with his girlfriend, who is also the mother of their two-month-old child. During the incident, Brown threw a video game console hard drive at his girlfriend while she was holding the child. The hard drive hit the child in the head causing injury…
