Syracuse, NY — Syracuse has mailed out two notices in recent days alerting residents to more violations concerning lead in the city’s drinking water.
There have been no more reports of elevated lead in water, officials say. Instead, federal environmental officials are faulting the city for moving too slowly in its response to previous testing, including failing to replace enough pipes.
