Dr. Amy Tucker, a cardiologist and chief medical officer at Upstate University Hospital, has been elected upstate governor-elect of the New York Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. Her term as governor will run from 2027-2030.
In the role, Dr. Tucker will represent the interests and needs of cardiologists and cardiovascular care teams across the upstate region. The upstate governor plays a key leadership role in shaping chapter priorities, guiding advocacy efforts, advancing quality initiatives, and fostering professional education and collaboration throughout the cardiovascular community.
